What to do with Eagle Lander in strat?
remove it 36%  36%  [ 4 ]

Rejoining isn't prevented in strat?

I thought that was going to be fixed in 1.5 patch. :?:

I vote leave it as is for the sake of staying close to stock BZ, but what does "remove it" mean?

If that means remove from strat, but keep it in DM, then remove it from strat.

Give the Lander a Comet Cruise Missle and an SP Stabber but not enough ammo to use both.

Why is the lander in the game? For strat? Or for DM?

I can't imagine an Eagle Lander actually being the core part of a serious strat game.

Perhaps it SHOULD be removed from strat. ;)

Good idea, I'll do that. I will also put dual Raves on all tanks.

I'd say replace the Rave Gun with an AT Stabber or any other less destructive weapon :)

Good idea!

We'll also allow the Factory to rebuild the Recycler, remove the Red Field from the Stealth Tank, and give scavs weapons!

Yeah, anything that has rave isn't for strategy (first SP mission is a joke). That's why I thought of weaponless Lander, cause it's good for spectating (some can learn like that).

After reading JonBlund's opinion and Spock's idea of a weaponless Lander for Strat, I agree with both.

So we keep the Rave Lander in DM and have weaponless Lander for Strat observation.

Perhaps give the weaponless Lander more hull.

eagle lander , will be ok with only as a defensive tactical unit
rising hull like a turret

(s) mini gun
(m) hotwiser

with lesser drop off time (8)sec

this way can be protected of making with comets or a lot of splinters , and with cannons.

My idea:

HULL: 6000
Deploy Time: 2 seconds

Any others have any opinion on how much hull/deployTime, etc. a Lander with no weapon hardpoints should have?

So, what's the point of a weaponless lander having a deploy time if it has no weapons to fire? Unless you're thinking of only leaving the Cannon hardpoint empty?
