You can have 2 of the same weps in the N64 version, its just that 1 hardpoint is used at a tim, so the bullets look close together.

Really?
Oddly enough, in my N64 game, whenever I run over a weapon that my ship will take, it accepts it, but when I run over another of that same weapon, it rejects it and does that annoying "you can't do that here" sound.
And, if I just run over another weapon, it replaces the one I just got, not adding it to the "second same hardpoint" unlike in the PC version.

I've been trying to check out the N64 version, but my emulator (Project64) can't emulate it properly, has massive graphics issues. I'd have to obtain the actual cartridge and put it in my actual N64. :P

Luckily I kept my cartidge from when I bought it and the same for my N64.

I still have my orginial working SNES from when I bought it, plus all the games back then too. :D

Yeah Im gunna buy it off E-bay or somthing, The emulated version flashes like crazy during single player missions... All it is good for on the emulator is the Arcade mode... As well as you need to turn cockpits off as the grizzly cocpit is glitched... The real reason why i have the emulated version is because of its soundtrack, which I have up on YT. OOh! did I mention the 'auto aim' feature is extremly annoying at times on the N6! :lol: but of course its there because of the complex controls, but it really makes it hard with miniguns vs. flankers. :x

You mean to tell me that I am the only one who still owns the original cart (counting or not that it is the same one that I got when it was made)?

I am amazed.

I guess, the only time I handled the real cart was when i was a child :cry: I never knew how valuable it was... Of course it was rental only :lol: . Luckily battlezone is a computer game :mrgreen: and im glad i found that out, and even better that it was free, but i still miss the good ol' days of 1998-2001 :(
