1 - Close Target Wrecky

First, deploy your Recycler and build a Turret and Scavenger. Order the Turret to position itself on the West Side of the Recycler. Press 'CTRL-1' and task both of the tanks to defend the Recycler. When ordered to goto Nav Beacon Alpha and investigate what is there. You will find Two Fighters that aren't pleased to see you. Engage and destroy them. When your base starts to fall under attack you must return to your Recycler. Ignore the Chiense fighters if you have not already destroyed them, they will come after you if they feel so inclined. Your number one priority is to defend you Recycler. Your other units will make a good job of this on their own but you being there will assist them greatly. At one point an enemy Light tank will enter the area. YOU MUST DESTROY IT, it will rip your Recycler up in no time at all.

Once all units have been destroyed then the mission will end.

---

2 - Hidden Enemy

Build a Turret and place it on the North side of the Recycler. Task both of the Light tanks to defend the Recycler. When the cut scene starts showing the three inbound enemy units, task the Scavenger to follow the Recycler. You then make your way to the east and engage the enemy units. You should be able to destroy at least both the fighters before they reach your base area. Do not engage the Tank, draw him into the base and let the Two light tanks deal with him. Once destroyed wait at the North West edge of your base and engage the two fighters that will appear from the canyon. BE CAREFUL OF CROSSFIRE FROM YOUR BOYS. Once you've eliminated the fighters, make your way to the East of your base and assist in the destruction of the units coming in from there.

After these aggressors have been wiped out your Recycler will pack up and start making its way toward a Nav Point. Assign the turret & Scavenger to follow it. This will add cannonfodder for the enemy on the run to the Nav. Stick to the Recycler like glue. Any units that approach it take on and destroy if possible, however, be careful not to get sucked in and lead away from the Recycler.

Note:- If you take a few lumps out of an enemy unit it will turn tail and retreat to safety. Bear this in mind!!!!

Destroy the enemy tanks that come near your Recycler and follow closely. Approx 500. metres from the NAV point the Recycler will lose propulsion and then stop. Stick with it and destroy all enemy units that approach. A set of bombers will approach and destroy your Recycler, this is OK, the mission will still be a success.

However, do not think " Oh I will just let the Recycler get destroyed on the way to the NAV " cause the mission will be a failure.

Lead your assault group but try to keep all hulls in the green level. When you reach the fork near the turrets. Tell your group to stay back and don't attack. Two splinters right in front of the two turrets makes it oh so easy to destroy them with out much damage. Lay a nav beacon and tell your two scouts to stay there. Take the two Light Tanks and head toward your recycler.

Meanwhile....
While you are traveling up the route. At your first possible chance, deploy the recycler and build two scavs. When you have enough scrap, build three Red Devils. CTRL+(Red Devils)+9+1. By that time there should be a Chinese attack wave that is easily defeated by your Red Devils. Once the Scavengers have collecting all the scrap from the battle, recycle them and build as many Red Devils as scrap and offensive unit slots permit.
As you take your two Light Tanks, they should be able to fend off the 3 Mongeese and 2 Turrets. Then move on to your recycler as another, larger attack wave moves in. Your 4 Red Devils and your 2 Light Tanks and you should be able to destroy it. Recycle all the extremly damaged Red Devils and build two scavs, an ammo and a repair. Restock and then press CTRL+1+9+2 To protect your APC. As it enters the map it will be met by 4 units with 4 Red Devils approaching. Stay at your recycler because there are some straggler Chinese ships. Once the APC reaches the area with two routes to take. Go and join the fight. Sacrifice offensive units to protect the APC. Soon it will be back at base and you will be pleased to have beaten the mission.

First, turn around and walk to the edge of the hillside. Below you in the distance is a group of Scavengers going about their business. Select your sniper rifle and train your sights on the Scavenger that is stationary. Kill the pilot. Deselect your Sniper rifle and then run to the edge of the cliff and jump off toward the scavenger. Timed & steered correctly you should be able to land straight in it, don't worry if you can't as you can just walk to it anyway. Once inside follow the two other Scavengers as they make their way to the West. After approx 3 minutes of travel time you will arrive at the entrance to the enemy base. Enter the base and make your way toward the Portal. Once you are within approx. 75 metres of the Portal, place you retical over the Portal and press 'I' to identify it.

Once identified you will have one minute in which to complete the next phase. Hug the East wall of the based and go behind the Comm tower and Hanger. There you will see a strange looking object, again place your reticle over it and press 'I'. Hop out of your Scavenger and make you way West between the Hanger and Comm tower, there you will find an empty Chinese Tug. Get in it and return to the Object. Get close to the object and press 'K', this will then pick it up. You now have to get that object back to the drop zone.

Continue to hug the East wall and remain there for as long as possible. If you press 'CAPS LOCK' you will access the Topdown view of the entire play area in the bottom Left of the screen. You will see two sets of green squares appear on the map, these are your support units. The ones that appear in the North will make their way to the entrance of the base to cover you while you escape with the object.

Press 'Control & 1' to select all of your Offensive units and task them to follow close, Option 8 on the command menu. Stay stationary for as long as you can and then as soon as the enemy fighters detect you make your way toward the Walkers at the entrance. Timed right you should appear at the entrance to the base at the same time a friendly Bomber wing arrives. Juggle your way through the action and once out of the base head South. Your fighters that were tasked to follow you will arrive within seconds. The idea for this section is just a beeline run straight to the Drop Zone. Don't bother to try and engage or dodge the enemy, just put you head down and drive straight. If possible try to bear in mind that little hills and dips will slow you down so always be looking ahead to ensure you correct you path for the smoothest ride.

You should then easily make it to the Drop Zone where the mission will end.

5 - Chink in the Armor

Deploy your Recycler. You can either place it in the little area to the North West or in the middle Geyser of the three. Once deployed immediatly build Two Scavengers. Next on the order of priority is to build a Constructor. Once built construct a silo in the South East part of your base ( where the main body of the scrap is ). This will assist in getting the scrap to your Recycler quickly. Then build a Factory and a couple of mobile combat units for protection. Once you have heard the "I don't like this, Where are they?" statement you have approx 1 minute until the first attack wave comes in from the South East. This should consist of three fighters.
Once you have despatched them to another life, BUILD BUILD BUILD!!! on a balance of 70 - 30 in favor of offensive attack units.

Tip:- Equip your Main Battle Tanks (Grizzlies) with a second SP Stabber. Also of course equip yourself with twin SPs. They will rip through the enemy armor in no time at all. It can be expensive but well worth it in the long run.
Once you have established a well defended base that is capabale of fighting off around 25 units in total that will attack your base, it is time to start taking down the Chinese forces at the heart. Get together a good cross section of heavy offensive units and head South East. You will see after a short time the entrance to the enemy base. Order your Offensive units to stay out of range of the base and make a diving run across the mouth of the enemy base alone. This should then start to draw the enemy out. As they start to follow take them toward where your main aggression is parked and let the boys have some fun. Once the the mobile enemy at the mouth is destroyed, attack the Towers and the Turrets.

Once down, you now have to take out the heart of the base. Be advised that the enemy has long range ammo supply dumps that will rearm their units in double quick time, so don't expect the Walkers to run out of ammo after 15 shots, they wont. The priority has to be to take out the Walkers, Ammo Dumps of which there is three, and then any mobile units and Gun towers that are up for it. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ENTER THE SOUTH WEST SECTION OF THE BASE!!!! It is equipped with four Flash Cannon towers and plenty of power supplies to feed them. Luckilyu it is hidden behind some rocks so there is no line of sight to the main base for them to start burning holes in your tanks.
Plug away at the base and keep at it until you have taken down the main body of the base. Always remember to check the status of your offensive vehicles, and keep them topped up with ammo & repair from outside the base. You can even get the constructer to build up a secondary base at the mouth of the enemy base consisting of perhaps a Supply Depot and Hangers etc.

Once you have destroyed all that can kill you, excluding the Flash Cannon Towers, then the mission will cut away to a cut scene and you will have completed the mission.
Point to Note:- You will notice on your radar that there are alot of Red Squares on the hilltops. These are very high powered mines that will launch you 200 metres into the air and then onto oblivion without thinking twice. SO KEEP AWAY FROM THEM!!!!

6 - Blitzkrieg - Alternate

The first thing to do is tell the Armoury to pack up and come to your current location. It is not needed until the enemy base has been taken down.
There are two ways in which you can complete the first section of this mission.

(a) Select 5 of your Red Devils and place them under the group key of F1, select the remaining 5 and place them under group key F2, or
(b) Select all of your units under the group key of F1. Howvere with this option you run the risk of all of your units shooting and hitting each other accidently, but I prefer this method myself.
Don't move until such time as the enemy fighters have been seen to leave the enemy base, a cut scene will show this happening. Once this has happened you can move your vehicles closer to the enemy base. My advice is to hold you units in postion 150 metres from the slope that leads down to the base, you then stick your nose over the lip of the slope and this will draw some of the remaining units upto where you are, youre units can then take them down without having to worry about the Gun Towers or Turrets.

Once this has been completed this is where the spliting your squad into two sets comes in if you have done it. You can task the groups of units to attack the enemy Power Supplies. Always remember that in 99% of missions a Gun Tower is useless if it has no nearby Power Supply to feed it. That is why you target the Power Supplies and not the towers themselves. Study your radar and make sure you prioritise the targets correctly. If you have done it correctly then at the end of the battle you should have at least 8 of your Red Devils remaining intact if not all of them.
Let us assume for arguments sake that the base is now defenseless. Make your way round and destroy all of the Barracks and other buildings that are present. NOT THE PORTAL!!!!. Bring your Armoury down to the base and deploy it. Then repair & rearm all of your units to a good functional state. Now once you are happy that units are functional, you must destroy the last two Gun Towers. These are located behind the Portal and with clever shooting it should be possible to take out the Power Supply without coming into range of the Towers themselves. Once you have destroyed the Towers the next phase of the action will begin.

You will have units that will come out of the Portal as well as from the West, these will increase in numbers. Just tak ethem out at a steady pace. Don't get drawn away from the main base area as your Armoury will fall under attack unless of course you assign units to defend it. The ferocity of the attacks will increase as time goes on. ALlways remeber to keep your units topped up and ensure they are not in a confined area. Tyr to spread them out a little if you can.
After a while you will get a message saying that a Recycler has been despatched to your location. It appears from the West North West. Escort it in if you feel the need but it should be ok until such time as it gets close to your base. Once it has arrived safely at you base it will deploy. Priority now is to build a Factory and then an APC asap. I suggest you also build 6 or so Scavs to clear up the mess that will be lying around. The minute you have the APC, select it and point your smart reticle at the Portal, then tell the APC to attack the Portal. It will makes its way over to the Portal and ultimatly enter the Portal. You then only have to defend you base for approx 1:30s until it can complete its task. Once the APC is in the POrtal a set of artillery will fire on the Portal from up the slope area and various units will come in from all sides to attempt to destroy you, you're base and the POrtal. This can't happen. Once the APC has reemerged from the Portal the Mission will come to an end and you can take a breather

Ensure however that you keep you Recycler arrive at all time once you have it.

6 - Blitzkrieg - Alternate

This is just what I did as I went along and any similarities to Trsc is not intentional.
I had my Armory build a rocket bomb and a Mortar mortar. The I built 10 ammo on the ridge besides where you are located. I layed a nav beacon and told my armory to pack up. They I got the Word that the diversion was sprung and called my armory in to my nav beacon. I got my artilery and rocket bomb and then began to shell and bomb from the high rises. There is a slope behind the pegasus where the 2 gun towers and the S-power ar located and if you are high enough up you are slanted down and can bomb it. Use that point and the two high ridges to shell the base into oblivion. When you run low on ammo go to your store. Also, there will be periodic attacks by Chinese on your Red Devil squadren.

Take 6 RDs in and take out all pilots and remaining unpowered structures. If you destroy the pegasus you will get a message about extending the cold war in to the 80's. When the base is secure, call in the other 4 RDs to a nav you layed in the base (away from the pegasus!!) and deploy the Armory. Have it build a Porx Mine and a little ammo store. Lay prox mines in the little hilly area in the west of the base. Then pack up your armory and send it back to nav 1.
Now prepare for a lot of Chinese attacking. You should have at least two remaining when some reinforcements show up and fill your ranks. Keep beating down the Chinese and wait fro the message that your recycler is on its way. Clean up the mess of scrap and build a factory and then an APC. Send the APC to the Pegasus and defeat all remaing Chinese. There will be more but your forces should have enough power to hold off until the APC returns.

Good luck with it.

7 - Terra Incognita

First order of business is to protect against the attack that is about to be launched on your base. The units are on their way and looking for blood. Build a Constructor and a second Gun Tower at the south entrance to the base parallel with the Gun Tower that is already there. I would recommend that you also build it a Power supply, although if you decide not to the one that is already there should feed it, a problem will arise if that one gets destroyed: You will have no Gun Towers. I also suggest you build an Armory and despatch it to a Geyser.
Once deployed, equip both of your Gun Towers with Flash Cannons and yourself with a second SP Stabber. If the 1st enemy wave has not already arrived just sit tight. Do not go on a hunting expedition, you will be outgunned and you will also leave your base open to Chinese attack. When the units arrive make sure that you let them come right up into your base area and you don't get drawn onto the slope. Your new Flash Towers should take care of most of them quite easily. Between attacks ensure that you keep your Gun towers topped up with repair cans from the Armory.

At some point you will get a message from control saying that " You are cleared to destroy the enemy base. " My advice is to stay put and fight off the attacks as they arrive. Give it about 10 minutes or so and build yourself up a good force of well armed Grizzlies ( Twin SPs ), then move out of your base and head East then North. Be advised that as you move up the ravine and get to approx. half way up the map you will come under Mortar fire from a Howie that is on a small plateau carved into the side of a hill. Take him out. Periodically create yourself a stock pile of ammo and repair cans, but not too many at this stage. Continue North until you get to a T junction and then head West. You will find another Howie on a hillside. Replace him with a pile of scrap and the delightful aroma of burnt Communist.

As you move toward the enemy base you will encounter tough(ish) resistance. The closer you get to the Chinese base the more chance you will see a Scavenger belonging to the enemy, every effort must be made to destroy enemy Scavs as they are what feed Chinese war machine. Destroy them and the Chinese get no scrap; no scrap, no building etc etc. Ultimatly you will come at the entrance to the enemy's base where you will see two silos, either Recycle or destroy them. All that is protecting the base is a few turrets maybe and three or four Gun Towers. Again, take out power for the Towers and you will have an easy time of mopping up the remaining base.

8 - Hook, Line, and Sinker

Stand by for heavy casualties. This mission is purely about defense with a little speed run at the end. My main advice is this: Turrets are the key. When I play this mission I set up three turrets on either side of the hill facing toward the enemy. That gives you six in a line at the entrance to your base, with a gap in the middle to let you out and your greedy Scavs back in with their precious cargo. Believe me, in this mission scrap is very important.
Equip each Turret with Twin Sp Stabbers and let them do the work while you ready replacement turrets for those that get destroyed (and they will get destroyed). Spend plently of time repairing and rearming the turrets by selecting the Armory -> Repair then by placing your reticle over the receiving turret and pressing the space bar - the same goes for rearming. As soon as one turret is destroyed, immediatly replace it with a spare.

When you get the word that the Chinese have finished, without delay make a beeline for the APC by going up the east face of the cliff. When you get within visual range of the APC, hop out of your tank, pull out your sniper rifle and snipe the pilot of the APC. YOU MUST BE FACING THE FRONT OF THE APC IN ORDER TO KILL THE PILOT! If you remain on the side of the hill the enemy units will not be able to get to you. The shot you have to make is pressurized but a cool head will win the day.
Once the pilot has been killed, jump to the APC, get in it, and drive through the Portal. That is about all I can say on this mission. Good Luck. It will take practice to get this one right for some players. Don't forget the Save Game Option.

9 - Grand Theft Portal

First, Press CAPS LOCK to get the top down view of the landscape. Stay put until such time as the commander says "APC Alpha, you may unload." When this happens make your way to the tank that is highlighted, park around the back of it, hop out of the APC and get into the tank. In a few seconds a voice will instruct the group to proceed to their Nav points. Fall in behind the convoy and make sure you hang within 100 meters of the last unit. Once you've settled into position, pressing 'Q' will keep you at the same speed as the tanks you are following .
You will pass by Nav 1 & 2. Between NAV 2 & 3 you will be instructed to get to the Portal as the group is not going the way BD Command thought they would. Strap yourself in and prepare to avoid the enemy!!!

As soon as you hear the voice telling you to go to the Portal break and take the right fork that is ahead of you, you should pass between two Gun Towers if you are going the right way (no pun intended). Ultimately you are heading for the dead end that's southwest of your break point. The secret to a successful run here is to anticipate the enemy and keep the momentum of your vehicle up. Colliding with a rock face or enemy vehicle could cost you your tank and your life. Remember that Turrets & vehicles will have a hard time hitting you if you drive hard and strafe from side to side. For those of you who have forgotten, Strafe is the 'A' & 'D' keys.
Once you get within site of the portal, drive straight at it and you will go through. If you lose your tank during the run you have two choices, try the level again or if you feel up to the challenge, you can make you way back to the start point and try and snipe one of the other tanks. Bear in mind though that the enemy want you dead from the minute you stray from the pack earlier on in the level.

---

10 - The Enemy Within

There are basically two ways in which you can work this mission. On your own with minimal back up or use the team approach. Bear in mind if you decide to use the team method that the AI could let you down a little.
First thing you need to do is equip yourself and the other Grizzlies twin SP Stabbers. I would also suggest creating an ammo and repair dump at the start position. Just get the Armory to deploy about 10 repairs and 10 ammo cans to the start location.

My personal preference for completing this mission is as a Lone Wolf. As you approach the various bases, enemy vehicles will come and attack you. If you have your team about 200 meters behind you everytime you approach then you can draw the enemy away and allow your team to take care of them. If you engage the vehicles within the confines of the bases they will get destroyed. The bases are located in the northwest, northeast, south & southwest. Key buildings are Recyclers, Armories, Factories & a Hangar.

Each base will have a number of Gun Towers and Turrets defending them. The secret to successfully completing this mission is to pick away at their defenses from all sides until such time as you have cleared them then just task your other units to come in and kill the key buildings.
Things to remember:-
(a) Enemy Gun Towers (GT) are effective only while Power Supplies are feeding them. Always destroy the power supply and not the tower. Remember that in some cases Power supply ranges overlap so even though the power supply near a GT is destroyed, it does not mean that the GT will not work as it might in range of another enemy Power Supply.
(b) Tip for killing Walkers: We all know that a few shots from a Walker's Blast Cannons can seriously dent your tank. The way in which I deal with Walkers is to ram them while continuously shooting. You will suffer some damage but not too much. On the right terrain, hittng a Walker a hard enough can actually knock it over. You're then left with a turtle on its back.
(c) Turrets are a breeze to kill. Strafe and shoot around them and you can kill them easily.

If you decide to rush this mission you will suffer heavy support losses. Take you time, work around the outside of bases, picking at the enemy defenses. Once the key buildings have been destroyed a Recycler will appear and be captured by the enemy. This is supposed to happen.

---

11 - Stranded

Prepare for Ground Assault!! This mission has a tendency to be a little heavy on the attacking side. First, I suggest that you equip all of you Tanks with Twin SP Stabbers. Group the Scouts and the APC together and place under 'F2'. Group the rest of your tanks and the Bombers (if you must) together as 'F1'.
Make your way south and then southeast. Once out of the Canyon instruct your APC to hold its position, while you and your tanks move forward. You can either marshal them outside the base while you draw the enemy vehicles out or dive all your forces in guns blazing (Personally I prefer to draw the enemy out and deal with them away from the Gun Towers, though the 'guns blazing' approach has an appeal all its own).

Once you've baited the free-roaming units to their demise, enter the base and target the Power Supplies then the Turrets. You will last longer against a Turret than you will against a Tower. Once you have completely taken down the base defenses, repair and rearm you tanks, then order your APC to goto the NAV beacon named 'Recycler'. When it arrives a pilot will hop out of the APC and get into the Recycler.
The Recycler will start to make its way toward your starting location. Stick to it like glue, the enemy wants to destroy it and they will send an attack force consisting of at least 2 Walkers and several tanks to do the job. Once the Recycler has reached its Geyser, tell it to pack up and move to the Geyser that is slightly further North.

Once there immediatly recycle the Scouts, APC & Bombers and get yourself 10 Dual SP Stabber tanks organized. Build a couple of Scavs to keep the scrap coming in, and there will be plenty! Fight off each wave as it comes in - they will get stronger and stronger as time goes on. Remember to keep your tanks repaired and rearmed between attacks. Some of the units that come in will be cloaked so be prepared for this, too. Later on, you will be attacked from the air by means of Soldiers that have been airlifted into the area. Take them out ASAP - they carry leathal minguns and are quite hard to hit.
Keep fighting until you are told to get to the Portal. YOU MUST PACK UP YOUR RECYCLER AND ARMORY AND MAKE YOUR WAY TO THE PORTAL. Failure to do so will result in mission failure. I suggest that you tell both the Recycler and Amory to make there way to NAV 'Recycler'. This will ensure that they at least are heading in the right direction. If you have started to make your way when the countdown timer expires, there will be a series of explosions and ultimatly the Portal will be destroyed. The mission will then end.

---

12 - Meanwhile, Back at the Ranch...

The intial battle in this mission is quite tough. The first order of business is to equip all of your Tanks with Dual SP Stabbers. Once this is done group all offensive vehicles together under the 'F1' key. Then make you way over to the hangar in the South and the, get the Armory to dish out 10 repairs and 10 ammo cans into a pile near the hangar - this is your supply for quick rearms and repairs.
Leave your tanks where they are. They will make a half decent job of defending the base from there. You must keep the Portal intact for approximately 10 minutes while the engineers finish off configuring it to allow the Recycler to come back through from Elysium. Your Scavs will tend to wander off into the enemy base given half the chance so I group them under the 'F3' key. When the first wave comes in just press F3 and the the space bar and they will come to where you are, by which time you will have destroyed the enemy so there will be some scrap and they will stay around you base area from then on.

Keep all of your units topped up with repairs and ammo during each battle. It is also advisable to monitor which of the Shields or Power Supplies are getting hit by the enemy. If one of them takes a bit of a pounding, select the Armory and deploy a Repair Can directly onto the Power Supply or Sheild. Be advised if one of the power supplies is destroyed then the enemy will concentrate on destroying the Portal, pulling units from the side which destroyed the Power Supply. For example, if the northwest Power Supply is destroyed, an attack force will come in from the northwest to take out the Portal.
Once the Recycler has made it back through the Portal, you can relax a little as the attack waves on your base will pretty much cease. There may, however, be a few stragglers that you will have to deal with.

Build up your forces then make your way to the northwest, there you will find the enemy base. Just pick away at it until it's destroyed. Don't forget that power supplies are the Achille's heel Gun Towers while strafing around Turrets makes them an easy kill. Destroy all that is Chinese in the base and the mission will end.

---

13 - Frustrate their Knavish Tricks

Usual story - equip your tank with twin SPs. Also equip the two Turrets you have with twin SPs. Build an Armory to complete this task. You should have enough resources left to build a Gun Tower & Power Supply. Place it at the entrance to your base (between the Turrets). Equip the Gun Tower with a Hot Foot Flash Cannon (Yeah Hah Baby!!)
Right, the idea behind this mission is that there are Six enemy Silos that you have to RECYCLE (not destroy) within 45 minutes. To accomplish this task you need to make use of the Constructor. When you get to the Silo, select the Constructor and then place your reticle on the Silo and press the Space bar. The Constructor will Recycler the Silo. The silos are located at six different points, each having a NAV beacon near it. It is entirely up to you which order you do this in, but I do it in the following order, NAV 1, 2, 6, 3, 5, then 4.

Each Silo area has a small force of vehicles and Turrets guarding it. Take these out before ordering your Constructor into the area. During your assault on the Silos, various attack waves will attempt to destroy your Recycler and base. This is why we built the GT and rearmed the Turrets. Monitor these attacks and the damage they cause. If you have followed the route that I take, when you have taken out the Silo at NAV 5, order your Recycler, Factory & anything else that moves to redeploy at the location where Silo 5 was. This is near the enemy base that you will later have to deal with.
Once all of the Silos have been recycled it is time to take out the enemy base. It is reasonably well defended and guess what? They have GTs that are equipped with Hot Foot Cannons as well, at least four of them at the base entrance. You can either Splinter them to peices or just take out the Power Supplies as you would in any other level. Be careful, though - Assuming you are not cheating your tank will last about 5 seconds under a Flash Cannon fire sequence. You have been warned.

You must destroy the enemy Recycler and Factory in order to win this mission. They are located in the northeast corner of the base.

---

14 - Lifeline

In this mission, you need to attack very quickly in the beginning. Note that as your Recycler arrives so does the initial attack by the enemy. Fend them off and then get to work building base defenses. Power Supplies and Gun Towers + well armed Turrets are the key. I suggest you have at least three GTs equipped with Flash Cannons and 4 Turrets equipped with double SP Stabbers to deal with the attacks that will constantly arrive your base during this mission. This will of course take some time as scrap begins to get scarce.
You will recieve a message about an APC that is heading toward the base. Do not look for it when you first hear the message, wait 'til it becomes highlighted on the screen to go destroy it. Beware, there are Bolt Mines located all over the map and they can severely damage you if you're unfortunate enough to trip over one.

Tip: Monitor your topographical radar (green one) and look for small squares, these generally are the Bolt mines. If you are equipped with twin SP Stabbers in your tank, two accurate hits will destroy them. Use hillsides and cover to destroy them, you have a greater range than they do.
Make your way to the APC and, if you can, destroy the APC and then head for your base. I suggest that you avoid the Tanks that are escorting it as you could suffer damage and the uneccessary loss of allied units. If you can just destroy the APC then run for your base, the GTs will take care of the enemy should they decide to follow.

Throughout the mission there will be many attacks on your base. Make sure equipment is always in a state of good repair and that they have plenty of ammo. You will be leaving the base for extended periods of time later on so preparation is crucial.
Tip: Always kill enemy pilots if they eject from their vehicles when destroyed. Like you, the enemy only has a certain number of pilots. Once depleted they can't build more ships. The enemy Turrets in this mission are equipped with Twin SP Stabbers so be careful when attacking them. Same rules apply when dealing with these turrets as any other Turret, you can strafe around them faster than they can turn.

The base you have to destroy is in the center of the map, two of the paths that lead to this base are defended by Laser Towers that have the Heavy duty SP Stabber installed in them. Four shots from them and you are walking home. There is a third path that will lead to the base on the East side of the map. I suggest that you alone make you way around that side of the map and very slowly (a) Destroy the mines and (b)clear the way for any other units that you will need later on. You could also place a Nav beacon at the entrance to this ravine so that any units that are built from your base can be ordered to go to it without fear of the AI units piling through the middle of a well defended enemy base or Tank killing Laser Towers.
On the East side of the map is the main Silo for the enemy - destroy it and any scavs that head toward it. The secret to taking out the GT is this: Let's say that you are on the East side of the map where the Silo used to be. If you look at your play area map you can see that there is a ravine running north and south. In the middle of this ravine are two Laser Towers. If you drive up to the edge of the ravine and stick the nose of your tank out you should have an unobstructed view of one of the power supplies. Destroy it! Move to the other side of the ravine and do the same to the other one.

Once you have done this it's time to consider taking on the enemy base. I suggest that you build the best armed offensive force that you can and hold them 200 meters from the Base entrance on the East side. You then make a dashing run across the mouth of the base and attempt to draw out the Walkers and other units that are there. When they come around the corner they'll pile straight into your army of tanks and hopefully get destroyed with minimal losses to you. This might take several attempts to get right though. The only negative thing about this is the fact that way up on the hillside are two howitzers that will be raining mortars down on your position. A good pilot can actually get up and destroy them although this is quite difficult to do, and impossible if you have Auto Leveling turned on.
Again the secret to getting into the base is to stick your nose out and fire at what you can see making use of the terrain as cover. Once inside there are well-armed Turrets and Towers to deal with. Keep picking away at them and soon enough you will be counting the scrap that used to be the enemy. A priority has to be the Recycler and Factory in that order.

15 - The Best Laid Plans...

This is the final mission in the Black Dog set and although it may appear to be easy it is actually quite difficult to complete. You start with a quantity of BD units. First, group them under the 'F1' key. Deploy the Armory and give yourself a second SP Stabber. The idea behind the mission is that various units will appear from all directions on the map and attempt to reach the middle. The first unit will appear in the southwest, a single fighter - go trash it yourself. While you are thusly engaged, another group of units will appear in the southeast. Press F1 and place your reticle over the most dangerous unit that has a Red Cross on it, for example a Bomber if there is one, then press space and all the AI units will attack that group.
Once this is accomplished, make you way to your AI units and check the status of their ammo and repairs. If they are in the yellow at all on hull damage, instruct them to get a repair. Once you have met back up with them tell them to follow you as you head due North. On the top down view of the map you will see that there is a canyon on the East side of the map. Somewhere near this canyon instruct your Armory to to drop plenty of repairs and Ammo Cans. To do this press 7 and then 1 and then 1 again for repairs or 2 for ammo, and repeat this over and over until about 10 of each have been despatched, then continue north. Once you are well past the middle of the map head West.

A group of Tanks and APCs will be making there way onto the map, destroy them asap. Next, head west and then south. DO NOT cut across or approach the middle of the map. There are 8 or so Flash Cannon towers on the plateau and they would love to burn a whacking great hole in you and your pals. Make your way down to where the ammo and repair cans are then instruct your units, one at a time, to run over the pile of repairs. This will replenish their levels.
The next bit is quite brutal. 12 units in all will make their way down the canyon that you are near. Prioritze hitting the Bomber and the Light tanks and then just mop up the others. Once you have destroyed them make your way to the area where the ammo cans were. Tell your units to stay put. Alone, make your way north to where the APC's and tanks were earlier. A few units will come into the play area from the south and the west. Instruct your AI units to take the units that come in from the south, you can then destroy the units that come from the north and east.

Once all these have been destroyed, get well away from the middle of the base. Within 30 seconds the area is to be bombed from space. This will be played out for you in an outro sequence.
TIP: Always monitor your own Ammo and Repair status and top up as necessary.

The End!!!
