Thanks. So this works fine with cards from other vendors?

Any idea what DirectX API BZ is using to draw the waypoints and compass arrows? The ideal way to get it fixed is to get a small code sample to submit to nVidia.

Personally I don't know, there's probably someone here who does. It would be awesome if they would do that, I tried posting on their forums but never got any replies.

EDIT, just checked it, Dx (Reaper) has replied, he's asked me to reply on BZC, So i've asked if he'll do a patch for BZ, he already has a patch for BZE I believe. You never know he may do it, let's wait and see.

Trusting Dx is something to be careful about, he hasn't been trustworthy at all so far.

WTF is this?! Just being member of that racist forum full of hackers, which main goal is BZ destruction, is something to be ashamed of. Posting there is bad enough, you don't have to brag about it here.

Besides, even hacker Dx and his BZE don't have the fix so you waste your time. And even if he gets the fix one day you will be able to use it only while playing with BZ2 ships on BZ1 maps in his silly mod. That's the point of it. Without the fixes his mod is nothing. With those few fixes, 5 ppl think it's nice. We've been through that too many times on too many topics.

Keep him and BZEC (BZE Club) out of Technical Support. You were already once told that. Reaper hasn't fixed anything for BZ and he never will. He is a hacker who hacks BZ from time to time to force ppl into his harder to hack mod. And btw, BZE was made by Tug, not by reaper. He only compiled it.

Alright, Chill out. He approached me. I don't need to post anywhere else on the site, It's weird, and full of links to porn sites weirdly enough, and I'm not exactly bragging.
This forum is a much pleasanter medium for BZ queries, the technical support for instance is much more extensive and overall the site contains a lot less abusive pages continuing the endless who's hacking who debate. I'm not going to get involved with that one as I don't play online enough to have an opinion.

If he does it then what's the issue? if he doesn't then what have we lost? I'm only trying to find a fix for an issue that a few of us have with NVIDIA.
And don't edit my posts with Lol smilies please, It's not going to help my position if someone on BZC reads it.

I haven't edited your post, I split your BZEC post from Technical Support to here and I needed a title, so I made one up. You care about your position there? LMAO, you already got the shirt from them, you just didn't wear it yet, right? You better start wondering about your position here...

The problem is in NVIDIA drivers for Vista. Wait for them to fix it or use dual boot, like I do. WinXP for BZ, Win7 (Vista) for other things.

Reaper won't fix Battlezone and he for sure won't do it for you. I was "working" with him for years, over lobby, PMs, emails... All for nothing. He wants BZ to die for BZE to live, therefore he won't fix BZ.

I don't expect for a noob to know that playing BZE or posting on BZEC is wrong, but when someone who's here for months starts doing it, I begin to wonder... You want to destroy Battlezone too?

I'm not going to fall out with you over this Spock, Dx approached me on NVIDIA, he made the 1st move, so I posted on one topic on there, I don't think he will do it either, but he made the first move so I'm following it up. If he doesn't do anything I'll leave the forum, I don't need to be on it otherwise as there's nothing of any use on the site otherwise.
I really fail to see how this might 'kill' BZ, If it comes to nothing all it does is prove you right, either way you win. So relax and we'll see how it goes.

You noticed this forum has a 1.5 patch section? That was made when Dx claimed he was going to make 1.5 patch with Spock. Then he "changed his mind", but we know he never intended to make the patch. Don't waste your time with Dx, we already have and nothing came of it. He wouldn't fix BZ for us, why would he suddenly change his mind for you?

Baldrick, your profile is saying 19, but you must be much younger. I'm not saying that as an insult (I would give everything to be 19 again, or even 16...), I'm saying that cause young people are usually unexperienced and naive. Just like you are.

Reaper approached you on NVIDIA forum just to discredit this forum and switch discussion to BZC/Sector 0, BZE forums he controls. He didn't do it to help you, cause there's no help.

BZE has 0-1 games per day, BZ has 40-50, so Team Dummy is fighting hard for every player. They know that if they make you register on their forum you will be one step closer to join them in BZE. That's why he didn't respond to you here or on NVIDA forum. He wants discussion only on the forum he can control. There is every post edited and carefully watched. Mentioning of Battlezone or posting Battlezone links is not allowed.

As he said in his post, he knew right away that you are Baldrick (even though you used other name), cause he already knows everything about NVIDIA radar and all who have issues with it. He reads this forum on a dialy bases, he has account here.

You allowed him to close NVIDIA discussion by calling this forum "a personal forum run by a hacker". You continued talking to him like that's ok to say, you even accepted to continue discussion on his forum. Think about it how that NVIDIA topic looks like now, for a next reader. Will the next reader come here, on "a personal forum run by a hacker", or on reaper's forums? Great job in helping reaper to promote BZE there.

And once again, reaper doesn't even have NVIDA radar fixed in BZE. If he ever gets it, I assure you, you won't see it in BZ.

Edit:
I just checked BZE forum, you have already been given BZE link. Everything goes by (reaper's) plan...

Spock, I don't care either way. I have had to give a little I know. It's also a curiosity issue, On this forum I hear a lot about BzE and I'd like to see it for myself, You're right it doesn't have the fix. Also I don't like it. the mouse is still here (haven't got round to hitting control panel yet) And even weirder the game creation screen lagged, and i wasn't even online. It took ages to catch up whenever I changed vehicle.
I'm not going to give up on BZ, or leave this forum, I'm going to see where this goes, I appreciate that you're trying to warn me, and I've been on here long enough to know what I'm getting into.

Baldrick, I heard you got promoted, you are now official BZE tester. Why don't you ask your new buddy reaper will his possible NVIDIA fix work for both BZ and BZE. I already know the answer, but you don't.

I doubt that very much, It stopped working! he told me to use compat mode, and now BZE won't work on my laptop!
seems my career was short lived and uneventful...

How you managed to reply so fast? :)

That means you decided to stop helping reaper to make a better mod which is supposed to destroy BZ as we know it?

I don't know, It may hinder anything else he wanted to know, however as I'm sure you read on there, Eddy has had the same issue for a while but never mentioned it to Dx, so I won't be needed for testing anymore.
I'm on GMT and have a day off work.
Also we're only 'destroying' BZ for NVIDIA users the rest will be fine. For now....
