hello im tesla . i discust with some guys of bz chat and we see some point we have to see


1. recycler , need mor hp . to easy to beat with 1 tank , scout, figther.
so in a single rush can t be over the game.
2 turrets badger /pak have no sigth range (50?) 1 minigun . low atack response . they realy got to improve maybe not the dmg but the combat performance
3 gun towers / solar pòwer acording the limit (10) i know they can be upgrade but with a solo tank easy can be evade

this thinks maybe can be usefull for the gameplay

abouth everything have fun !!!

#1 has it's own thread down the 1.5 page. The general consensus is that the HP is fine for the recycler.

#2 They actually have a max attack range of 200m, but still, pretty slow to react. I think there's an agreement to increase the speed of the turret's turning capabilities. Also has it's own thread I think.

#3 For CCA Gun towers, I fully agree. NSDF doesn't suffer as bad since they have blasts, they pretty much use it effectively, too. The CCA gun towers are pretty slow though, and most single rushers can destory atleast two power supplies without as much as a single shot being fire back. Pretty lame really.

There was one time when I thought Turrets turned too slow. As you might know, I've been working on my own BZ mod (1.4Ever), and I experimented with turn speed increases for turrets. Honestly, it makes the turret much too powerful. I played the single player campaign with faster turning turrets, and it was even easier than it is NOW.

So I decided that my personal opinion for turrets is no change to the turn speed at all.

Currently strat turrets are 0.7 turn rate and even minor adjustment to 1.0 made them too powerful.

So rather than trying to mess with turrets, I say leave them stock.

As for the reaction of Gun Towers, you should consider using a minefield to slow down your opponent.

Nothing is broken about online strat except for recycler diving, ally bugs, and gray scrap.

Solution for gray scrap is either have it disappear, or allow another player to "own" the scrap, so that there is no such thing as infinite scrap in online strat and that the scrap left by a player can be collected.

Solution for allied silo bug is to have the owner of the scavenger receive the scrap.

Experiment a bit more. Find a sweet spot in between that has a balance of fairness and good turning. :)

A anti cheet-bug fix is allways welcome. A working kick is a good idea too. The game host can inforce the rules he may wish to have in that game. Just pleas make a bz2 like mistake. Dont change or rebalance the game so that the dm is ruined. That is what bz2 did. Great strat. Crummy dm. Lots of luck, and thanks for the hard work on the best game ever!

im not sure, but something i just did w/ the bdog grizzly and some nav beacons makes me think that if u multiply out the damage and fire rate for the SP and AT stabbers, they do the same damage over time. i dont know how to find out what they are set at in game, but if they are the same, then w/e we get a new patch could we make the SP a little better? it does more per shot, but in a fight it would b the same as the AT, only it fires slower. this seems wrong to me, could anyone find out if im right, and fix it in their patch?

AT Stabber does 80 ballistic damage per shot, SP Stabber does 200 ballistic with also 75 heat damage per shot.
AT Stabber has firerate of 0.3, SP Stabber has fire rate of 0.6. (a fire rate of 1.0 is once a second)

So, the at stabber does less then half the damage as the SP Stabber.
