Well, we don't have 10 categories, and it would be unfair to say there are only 2 or 3 pro stratters in BZ so I made that list a bit longer. Some are on the edge of belonging to other group, but it is like that in all categories.
Reaper doesn't play strat. He's on the list only cause he is changing BZ strat (in his mod) to be more understandable to DM'ers, while his main advisor is BFT, a hard core bomber.
I don't like Jens either (he uses FPS cheat, alt tab cheat, ally cheat, he rec dives, rejoins, he's a racist, a liar, hard on noobs...), but you can't say he doesn't understand strategy. He is not very good at DM, but if you don't attack him in the first few minutes, not many from Averages can beat him. He can defend very good and he can destroy almost any recycler.

Most of you think of Jens while having Pac-Man games on your mind. Those games are 4 players sync off strats and in most cases they end up as all vs Jens. You can't judge someone's ability by those games. Try to beat him on Citadels, sync on. My score with Jens in 1on1's is something like 100-5 in my favor, and I lost 3 Citadels.
Understanding how scrap functions is crucial in BZ strat. As soon as some big fight is finished Jens will have silo there and scavs working. He knows he has to collect it before his opponent. Also, I have never seen someone using miners, APC's, turrets and rocket tanks with comets good as he does. He thinks like a stratter.
Tesla is dangerous cause he has good DM and goes for the rec as soon as he spawns, but other than that I don't see him as a big threat. The one who builds 10 gun towers around his base and goes on solo crusades can't be a pro. That tactic may work for some, but it will fail against most.
He still has a lot to learn, but yes, both him and HyperFighter are on the way up.
Even though valak is mainly DM'er, he knows almost everything about strategy. When I was a noob he was my nightmare cause of his DM, later I became his nightmare cause of my strat.
Check where TheWall is... he's among averages, and if you ask him (or any buddy of his) how good he is, he will say he's one of the best, if not the best. But when he played HAL and me (1on1), he was slapped like a little girl. He is one of those who got his "glory" in the first days of FPS bug. He had 150 FPS when most had 30, so his tweaked DM was winning most of his strat games. Yes, he admitted his high FPS and helped me in discovering the full impact of that bug years later, but guess what happened with him when he startted playing with 60FPS? He started losing constantly and in the end he quit Bz. Well, not before he got slapped by the real stratters. He's now promoting BZE strat cause the biggest threat there is bomber Grinder, who can't win even when his opponent is in a Ram.
You also gotta know that anyone can lose to anyone. Sometimes little things decide... Beating someone once doesn't make you a better player than your (beaten) opponent. And only sync on 1on1 strats count, anything else is just a casual stratting.
P.S. Upyerkilt, don't avoid anyone, just prepare yourself differently for different opponents and learn from every game.
