I will be on roughly between 7-9 PM almost every night, and maybe 2 or 3 in the morning most days. So yeah... game on! I will be looking forward to it!

Sporkinator VS Micha Battle by the Sea 5 lives Sync ON
Silly Rules: - 10 minutes of build time. - No Splinters
I start scrap collection. I wasn't going to follow Micha's rules if it wasn't convenient for me, but as it turns out, 10 minutes of guaranteed peace was great, and I don't typically use splinters much anyway. As you might know if you've played VS Micha before, he's a hardcore base sitter, so your tactics must be set around the general goal of trapping him in his base. Howitzers play a crucial role.
I don't have the spawn points memorized, so I move recycler N from my SW spawn and collect some scrap there. I realize his base isn't N, so I move E and set up some gun towers, build 4 howitzers and an army on the high ground above his base and begin shelling. He brings his army and a firefight ensues. His units are annihilated and he flanks me and takes out my recycler. I then direct my howies to shell his recycler. He tried to pack it up and move it out of danger, but it was too late. It was in yellow... ...then 4 more shells hit sending it into red, and I rushed down the hill and finished it off with my tank. He rushes up and manages to destroy 3 of my howies before being blown up by my gun towers. I build a few bombers and send them to attack his factory and they succeed. I order my last howitzer to attack his constructor and that constructor becomes scrap. Micha wipes out 5 of my 6 scavengers, and I order the last scavenger to stay within my outpost and I go into "turtle mode". It's a bit like base sitting, but my base is on the high ground above his base, so instead of base sitting defense, it's base sitting offense. I sit at my base/outpost and defend. Micha comes up in his tank and tries to do some damage, but I destroy him with dual SP and mortar and take his life. Then I see 2 elevated yellow dots on radar. Day wreckers! I shoot them out of the sky. He comes up a few more times driving a scavenger to deploy more day wreckers. I eject him and take his life every time, and proceed to shoot the day wreckers to prevent their detonation. Eventually, he is on his last life, and says "OK it's useless". We both say gg, he said I am the greatest. Just before he leaves, I rush to his spawn and take his last life to make it a true victory! Next time might he consider an ATTACK strategy rather than just sitting in his base waiting for me? At some point I tried to snipe him and I got killed, but I don't remember exactly where that fits in the story, it's why I finished with 4 lives instead of all 5.
I figured out why you beat me HF. We have different play styles lol... and mine is inneffective against you but works extremely well on everyone else. We should do a team strat against that bugga... and then both attack his base But he seems like a decent enough player.
Hence why yours is different. Mine is all me. I just read sporks complete report, and I must say, is pretty sad... poor fool, sits in his base... that is just asking to die. I could do that without howies. What kind of idiot stays in his base??? That map is also no good for base sitting... That is a mobile map if you know what I mean.
1v1 is good, but gets boring after a while... I much prefer the massive chaos of 4 player free for all, or 2v2 insanity! Much more entertaining.

First game I ever played VS Micha, I lost because I played wrong. I tried to build an outpost outside his base and attack head-on, on the low ground. It didn't work for me, because he keeps rebuilding. His strategy is sit at his base and wait with defense and army, then once your army is destroyed, he will go after your scavs. If he sees that you can't fight very well due to being low on scrap, he will then rush your production units. At least that's what I've seen in the very few games I played with him. Also, being a base sitter, he can reload his army, rebuild defenses, and prepare for another direct attack wave. So the way I see it, the best way to counter the hardcore base sitter is to bring your base/outpost to him, and do the same thing, sit at your base/outpost, while your howies wreak havoc on his production units. I took down his recycler with howies, completely voiding his heavy base defense. Then I took down the factory and constructor. With him having no constructor and no recycler, you can then eat away at the gun towers and power sources and they can't be rebuilt. Spock said that Micha can be beaten with bombers on hunt, but I'm not willing to risk it by building a platoon of bombers and relying exclusively on them to do the work. Best bet might be to have a well defended outpost with some howies, AND some bombers on hunt... that should do it nicely.

yea, 4 player sync off strat is interesting. Though 1on1 is best for testing your true strength against someone. I prefer all vs me games, helps me gain more skill, and has the entertaining factors of a 4 player game

What's interesting is that it was a similar experience for me when I first stratted him. I never expected his mode of attack. However, now I can successfully take him down expecting his move, and getting a good offense/defensive tactic. I think he's beaten me only twice. Both times I was in "noob stage".

It could be done in theory. Once you get the idea of pumping bombers down.
Pumping bombers is a good tactic, but Hyper knows why it won't work on me. As for all vs you hyper, hehehe... you have never done that with me on the opposing team. But bombers on hunt gets interesting, cause they do take advantage of the massive range of RB's. I had a few bombers shooting at me from 300 odd meters away cause they were on hunt. If they are set to attack, then they close in, but on hunt, they actually sit far away. I was bored, so I sniped em.
